The Budget

It appears that scoot/bike tax and also small cars stays the same.
However, the new tax system comes in from May 1, 14 different classes for cars, upto £400+.
I saw a cracking Jag for £1500 yesterday, no wonder, the tax will cost a third of its value!
Petrol up 2p from September, not bad as they only put 2p on last month!!!!!!
I dont smoke or drink, so that wont bother me, but my brother is hopping made as he does both, I told him to sit down, calm down and pour himself a drink and have a fag! (even though its going to cost him 2% more)

Didn't realise twas budget day until I arrived from work this evening.

That was a non event for us pensioners. No real gain at all for us.
