I've fitted Ultraseal to my Silver Wing this morning. A method I've just implemented is to use a 60ml syringe. Instead of fitting the next to useless tubing to the bottle and squeezing until your hand aches, well mine does, fit the syringe to the tubing and fill the syringe with Ultraseal and inject. Remove the syringe from the tubing, refill, refit to tubing and repeat until desired amount is installed.

The Wing's rear tyre has a right angled valve and in really difficult to access, in fact it's best done lying on the floor. Using the syringe method makes the whole process so much simpler.

Good idea, Bob, and just in time as I'm about to do the same thing to my Honda.

Presumably you first measured out to be sure that you knew exactly how many cc's equated to the necessary number of units on the bottle?

Hello Keith, good to hear from you. I poured the correct amount of units into a jug first.

Harder to conceal than a 60cc one, Young Bob, much harder to conceal pirat.

I have just had 2 new tyres fitted to the Bandit, I got a double back wheel puncture on the M25 coming back from Crofton, so the ultraseal worked wonders as it got me home.
However, the bike now handles much better than before, so either the previous owner messed things up or Ultraseal upset it. I don't think the great change in handling is down to changing the tyres, because I remember problems when the originals were less than 3000 miles old.

Wouldn't be without Ultraseal, I have used it for years in various bike tyres. It certainly saved me a few headaches whilst travelling abroad. I have never found it upset the handling of any machine.

Long Live Ultraseal!

Thanks lads for the replies, I know the previous owner, he could have put too much in the front, the handling was like you have with under inflated tyres, the steering was very heavy and it would drop itself into the corners, I will put ultraseal in again and see how it goes.
