Cleaned the Silverwing today as I wont be using it over the festive period. (High risk of collision with reindeer)
Decided to ACF50 the metalwork to protect it. For those not aware, ACF50 is an anti corrosive treatment. Usual caveat, don't get on brake discs etc. I spray the light oil over the bike in general then whilst wiping the wheels with a cloth soaked in the stuff, I lacerate my fingers and hands trying to get to all those slightly inaccessible places. All those little fasteners on brake parts that you have to squeeze past to get to the wheels and such. It feels like loads of tiny cuts administered, wasn't noticed at first because it was so cold, but then I washed my hands - Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - I found them then!!!
However, I now know that the Wing is covered up and protected.
Seasons greetings, watch out for low flying reinder towing portly gent on a mission.
