Brain picking time folks! I have a Boyer Bransden inductive discharge unit that I had on my Bantam prior to making up a pointless system for it . The idea of the unit is to do away with the points capacitor and put a very low load on the points whilst making a very strong spark . I found that on a two stroke where the poor old points are running at crankshaft speed it improves longevity and running . The problem is thus - It is a positive earth unit , the body of which is isolated , providing I connect positive to positive and negative to negative will it still work on a negative earth bike?

It should work OK as long as it is isolated but I can't fault Derek's advice.

A bacon buttie is in the post Phil, See you soon. My Bantam just requires a kickstarter, and some time spent on it. I'm not sure what to do with it now that I have the little Yam.
