Having a bad week

My Arai Condor was damaged this morning!!! My fault - must stop cleaning things.

Whilst removing the visor to clean it I applied too much force to the left side pod and snapped the thing. The visor is fine so I carried on and cleaned the insert and visor.

I had a search on the Inet and found a bike clothing company in the UK that sell parts for the Arai helmets. So my initial thought of; this is going to be an expensive visor cleaning session, i.e. new helmet, circa £300. The cost of the pods is a mere £20. Phew!!!!!!

Hopefully it will arrive before Christmas, as I plan to ride the Wing when I have to return to work on the 28th.

You were fortunate there mate, must be the OCD kicking in with all this cleaning.
