Burgers in the garage now.

20k mile service.
MOT
Headlight adjustment, (1 x light way out of line!).
Handbrake to be freed up. For some reason it won't budge.

Sits back and waits for the 'your bike is ready' phone call. Followed by that will be, 'Oh! And bring a FULL cheque book' Evil or Very Mad .

My hand brake hasn't worked since I got the scoot. So I never bothered to get it fixed.

Go to admit I very rarely use my hand break on my burger!
But I guess it just another thing to go wrong when it does!
I'm having a small minor problem with the centre stand sensor keeps sticking in I try to keep it as clean as possible and WD40 clears the road grime off it but never mind - I'm aware of it and that's the main thing!

Fingers crossed for Tuesday Doug - I hope its a small one!!! Bill that is!!

Actually I dreamt last night that I went to pick up my Burger after a service, which included a belt and roller change, and the bill was £538. I know the belt needs changing as it was noted on my last service. New belt required next service!

Just leaving to pick it up now. Wasn't brave enough to ask how much!!! (I suppose I like suprises!). geek

As for the hand brake. I wanted it fixed as a) I park it on some dubious hills sometimes! b) I plan to part ex the Burger to the garage I have it serviced, so spend a penny today gain a quid tomorrow.

When I traded my last beast in at the same garage they did me a very good deal, way above what it was worth.

I also like things to work as they should. Arrow

Burgers back.

£200 MoT and service. They changed the brake fluid too. Which I'm pleased about. I should have mentioned it when I took it in but forgot.

Went for a wee bimble, Out to the Tank Museum, Dorchester, back into Weymouth for some shopping for SWMBO's birthday.

Bike running as smooth as a nut, and street legal with my new MoT!!!!! Laughing

I bet you are glad it was not as bad as you first thought. It means that there is enough left for a good rideout, maybe the GOG's meet next month?

Would love to, but as I mentioned on the previous forum before annialation! Until my wee pooch passes on I don't fancy riding home to a corpse! Once he has gone then I'll be game on for days out when SWMBO's not about!Sad
