Keith, me kiss and tell?
It's really much like the F650CS, that I regret ever selling.
The engine is really good, being a long stroke twin (Half a Jazz engine), it has all it's power developed at low RPM. maxium revs only 6250, before the limiter cuts in. The gearing gives 60mph at 3000rpm, 80mph at 4000rpm. Chaps on the NC700 forum report good fuel consumption, it should be a good motorway bike, there is no vibration throughout the rev range. A Caburg flip front helmet fits in the dummy fuel tank.
I've been studying the internet for goodies to buy, yesterday I rode home in the rain, I need to get a few extras to deflect the wet from me and the crap from the road that goes all over the bike.
I cleaned the bike today, which was quite quick and easy, on the Burgman 650, I always cut the top of my knuckles each time I cleaned the wheels, the ABS ring was razor sharp.
I originally phoned Dobles to get a Silverwing 600, but they were only available in black, which I did not want black again, he had no NX700S available, but said he wanted to do a deal with me on a new bike to help reach his September sales figures, I did not want to see him fail his target, so did the deal on the NC700X. They were giving upto £1000 extra in trade-ins completed by September.
So pleased with the bike so far!
Famous last words, I'm never going to sell this one, as said at least 50 times in the past.
Regards
Dave

Thanks for the write-up, Dave. It sounds like your sort of bike.
As for keeping it clean, I can recommend a regular dowsing with Scottoil F365: cheap(ish) and easy to use.
So you're now a Honda Man through and through, are you?

Colin, The S-wing is my perfect scoot, the plan is to keep it for any scooter ride outs, and use Jazzmin in my biking world.
Keith, I've been out both days this weekend, nearly run it in, it only needs 300 miles at 4000rpm (80mph), so that's no problem.
The bike came fitted with every good Bridgestone 023 tyres, it is handling very good, and the brakes are spot on. I parked up at High Beech Tea Hut, Epping, and got a group of interested bikers asking all sort of questions about it. I'm thinking of finding a way to put Harley in the dummy tank, I'm sure he will fit in it.

Ah well. Sad I expected you to say that. For a moment I thought there might be a deal on the breeze. I'll have to think about a new one.
