I wish them all the very best of British, it is a shame that most biker tour companies and magazines concentrate on trips abroad when some of the best roads are in the UK.

I have to agree on that one.

Hope Linda is well, has she had her op?

DaveM was talking about doing a bit for the bikers mag whilst we are in Scotland.

Hi, Joyce, thanks for asking, Linda has had the operation 3 weeks ago and the signs are good, Sunday she managed a slow walk around Broadstairs Bay with only planned stops for a coffee, roast dinner in the Charles Dickens Pub (very nice carvery) and an Italian Ice cream parlour.
Probably the best place in Kent to visit and using the country lanes, a very nice drive from Chatham.
Anyway, I can now consider those long rides this year, Cornwall, Barmouth (Wales) and of course Scotland in June.

lol! Dave
