My friend Barney in Westbury phoned tonight to ask if he could have a lift to Reading to pick up a Sillverwing. OK says I what time. Later he phones back to inform me that someone he's been in contact with has had a buyer drop out and he now needs a lift to Andover.

Tomorrow we're off to Andover to pick up a Wing. I'll keep you posted.

I was going to take him down on my Scooter but I think our combined weights will overburden it. It's rated for total load of 28 stone. We're going down in the car instead.

Hopefully we'll both make the Alton run.
