It will be called the the MyRoad 700i here in Aussie

http://www.scootersales.com.au/News-2532-kymco-myroad-700i.aspx

We will also have the MyRoad 300i by June 2009 the700i by Dec 2009.

I guess I could be tempted but we will wait and see if I can get to test ride one... maybe Yamaha will take the hint and bring out the bigger TMax

=========from Kymco Australia=========================

Hi George,

Thank you very much for your email enquiry.

Here at Kymco we are very excited about the Myroad 700i. This scooter will go into productions in December 2009. This being the case, we should see the Myroad 700i in Australia Mid to late 2010.

Please keep an eye out on our website for updates. www.kymco.com.au

Kind Regards,

Elysha Huby

I've heard nothing but good reports on Kymco, they seem to be well built, reliable and good value for money.
The only down side that put me off when I was in the market in 2007 was the dealerships were a bit sparse.

What I did notice was that the weight carrying capacity was a lot lower with the Kymco.. But like all new bikes we have to wait until its out and someone else buys it so we can hear if there are so many or any problems.

Funny enough, here in aussie they have a good name for reliability and really great after sales service, yeah things have gone wrong (tell me which bikes are 100%) but they (the company) are very quick to sort things out and if they can't they supply a loan bike... not to many places do that anymore...

I loved mny X9's but will never buy another because there isn't any service here to mention, even when I complained to the importers thier comment was that "I did to many miles".

Now Yamaha on the other hand are faaaaantastic here in Australia with their after sales service, though I haven't needed it myself but others with older TMax bikes are very happy.
